Ryan is a self-starter who loves being challenged by complex work and solving problems effectively and efficiently for the clients he represents. With an extensive background in labor and employment law, including discrimination, wage and hour, and executive benefits claims, Ryan additionally has experience in all stages of litigation, from intake to resolution. He will leave no stone unturned, is reflexively detail-oriented, and has a strong written and oral advocacy skillset. Ryan’s career has brought him before federal and New York State courts, tribunals and agencies. He has also worked on matters of national importance, researching, and writing the arguments on a case decided by the U.S. Supreme Court, which redefined the scope of federal antidiscrimination laws.

Prior to joining Underberg & Kessler, Ryan worked in the greater New York City area representing a host of industries throughout the Eastern seaboard. His diverse experience provided him with a practical understanding of not only the issues faced by those he represents—whether they are individuals, small local businesses, or large corporations—but the importance of his representation to those for whom he works.

Before becoming an attorney, Ryan traveled extensively living in Beijing, Brisbane, Seoul, and Taipei. He enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
