REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
We have an opening for an attorney in our Real Estate Practice Group in Rochester, NY.  Our team provides legal services for clients in commercial and residential real estate purchases and sales, financing, leasing, and related matters. Our clients include businesses, municipalities,  national retailers, financial institutions, and individuals. This position is responsible for contract review and negotiations, title review and clearance, representation of lending institutions and purchasers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions and deed transfers, while ensuring legal compliance in managed areas.  Qualified candidates must be admitted to practice in New York State and have a minimum of three years of experience with real estate transactions, have a strong background managing non-attorney closing personnel, familiarity with closing software, and the ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner. 

 

CORPORATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
We are seeking an attorney with a minimum of three years of experience to join our Corporate Practice Group in our Rochester, NY office.  Candidates should have a working knowledge of corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, and governance and compliance issues, the ability to assist in the formation of business entities, including limited liability companies, profit and non-profit corporations, lending transactions, and negotiation of commitment letters, commercial loan documents, and the review of due diligence items.  Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York State, be highly motivated, comfortable meeting with clients and developing business, and have strong research and computer skills.

 

GENERAL PRACTICE ATTORNEY
We are seeking an experienced general practice attorney to join our Canandaigua, NY office. Applicants must be admitted to practice in New York State and have active experience handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, trust and estate, and general business matters. The successful candidate is highly motivated, has an existing book of business, exercises sound business and legal judgment, effectively manages client relationships, has strong business development skills and is motivated to grow his or her practice, possesses superb written and verbal communication skills, and values and thrives in a collaborative and collegial environment. 

 

RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
We have an opening for an attorney in our Residential Real Estate Practice Group in Rochester, NY.  Our team provides legal services for clients in commercial and residential real estate purchases and sales, financing, leasing, and related matters.  Qualified candidates must be admitted to practice in New York State and have a minimum of two years of experience with residential real estate transactions, including mortgage lending. This position is responsible for ensuring legal compliance with a strong background managing non-attorney closing personnel required, familiarity with closing software, and the ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner. 

 

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
We have an opening for an entry-level, part-time Social Media Coordinator reporting to the Director of Client Services in our Rochester office.  Working closely with the Firm’s Director of Client Services, the Social Media Coordinator will provide strategy and tactical plan implementation to raise the Firm’s profile and drive website and online traffic by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing arena.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee social media content across all channels
  • Monitor social media SEO and suggest optimized content for social media platforms to increase the Firm’s visibility
  • Respond to and route inbound social messages
  • Track, measure and report on performance metrics
  • Stay current on social media best practices and technologies
  • Collaborate with others to coordinate targeted action plans

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of social media experience targeted to raising brand awareness
  • A solid understanding of how each social media channel is utilized and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels
  • Strong creative writing, graphic editing and communication skills
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Detail- and client-oriented with good multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work with owners and staff at all levels
  • BS in Communications, Marketing or Business preferred
