We have an opening for an attorney in our Residential Real Estate Practice Group in Rochester, NY.  Our team provides legal services for clients in commercial and residential real estate purchases and sales, financing, leasing, and related matters.  Qualified candidates must be admitted to practice in New York State and have a minimum of two years of experience with residential real estate transactions, including mortgage lending. This position is responsible for ensuring legal compliance with a strong background managing non-attorney closing personnel required, familiarity with closing software, and the ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner. 


Corporate associate attorney
We are seeking an attorney with a minimum of three years of experience to join our Corporate Practice Group in our Rochester, NY office.  Candidates should have a working knowledge of corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, and governance and compliance issues, the ability to assist in the formation of business entities, including limited liability companies, profit and non-profit corporations, lending transactions, and negotiation of commitment letters, commercial loan documents, and the review of due diligence items.  Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York State, be highly motivated, comfortable meeting with clients and developing business, and have strong research and computer skills.


We are seeking an experienced commercial lending paralegal for our Rochester, NY office.  The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of loan document drafting and due diligence review for transactional closings.  A minimum of three years of relevant experience and strong organizational skills are required.


We have an opening for an Administrative Assistant for our Real Estate Practice Group in Rochester, NY. Qualified candidates must have a working knowledge of residential real estate sales and purchases, must possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This high-energy, detail-oriented professional will have sharp organizational skills and be responsible for performing tasks to efficiently assist attorneys and paralegals and provide back-up support, as needed, to other team members.  General responsibilities include, but are not limited to, open and maintain files, calendar matters and appointments; prepare, revise, proofread, and process real estate documentation, including transfer documents, affidavits, agreements and closing statements; and provide excellent client service at all times.  Working knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, mortgage banking, and/or title report preparation a plus.
