Estates and trusts, residential real estate, corporate law – Karla’s range of experience is impressive. In addition to working as a senior attorney in private practice, she was previously an executive vice president and general counsel at one of the nation’s largest title companies. Whether she is helping a family buy a home or advising a corporate CEO, Karla gives 100% to everything she does.
A passion for public service is a tradition in Karla’s family. Her father and brother are lawyers; her husband is a retired Sheriff’s Captain; one son is a U.S. Marine Corps Judge Advocate; the other a volunteer firefighter and EMT. Her philosophy is that you only have one life to live, and you should use it to make a difference in other people’s lives.
Karla brings that same spirit of service to every client. She is sensitive to her clients’ emotional and legal needs, and works diligently to help them make important life choices. Karla provides reassuring counsel for her real estate clients, understanding that buying a home is the largest and most personal investment they will ever make. In estates and trusts, she works with clients to structure a plan for their elder years and succession of their wealth. And when advising business owners, Karla helps clients manage growth, avoid costly mistakes along the way, and plan for the continuity of their business.
In addition to the law, Karla has another passion: she is an award-winning fiber artist who has crafted more than 100 quilts.
