For over 35 years, Pat has successfully represented clients in complex commercial and residential real estate matters across New York State. He develops strong, collegial relationships with his clients so he can best understand their unique needs and solve their toughest problems. In addition to being Managing Partner, Pat is also chair of the Real Estate & Finance Practice Group and oversees the Firm’s mortgage lending team.
Pat concentrates his practice on commercial real estate, mortgage banking, and tax credit development and finance projects. He has represented for-profit and non-profit organizations, developers, retailers, commercial lenders, and mortgage brokers in a variety of real property transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, construction, development, title issues, zoning, and mortgage financing. He has represented housing development fund corporations in all aspects of affordable housing transactions, including Low Income Housing tax credits, tax-exempt bond financing, Federal Housing Act HUD-insured financing, development of assisted and independent living facilities, tax abatement, and payment in lieu of tax agreements. Pat also provides value-added counsel to financial institutions regarding banking regulations and real property law.
In addition to being a trusted advisor, Pat is equally passionate about being active in community and industry groups, as demonstrated by the numerous organizations he devotes time to. He is highly regarded in the Western New York real estate community and regularly speaks at professional and real estate seminars regarding developments in the real estate industry.

PROFESSIONAL & COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
As an Executive Board member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Genesee Region, Pat focuses on issues affecting the mortgage banking industry on both a local and national level. He also advises the board on legislative developments and previously served as President of its Board of Directors.
Pat is a member of the American Bar Association and member of its Real Property, Trust & Estate Law and Affordable Housing and Community Development Sections. Additionally, he is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association and past Chair of its Real Estate Section. He also previously served as an Advisory Board member for First American Title Insurance Company of New York.
Pat is active in the community, serving as Vice President to the Board of Directors of the Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation. He is a past President of the Foundation, past Chair of the Project Development Committee, and past Chair of the Foundation's annual fundraising gala. Pat also serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Webster Soccer Association and President of the Board of Directors of the Sports Association of Webster, Inc.

Pat has been recognized in the 2013-2024 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® for his work in Real Estate Law and he has also been selected as an Upstate New York Super Lawyers honoree from 2007-2010 and 2021-2023.
In 2022, 2023, and 2024, Pat was recognized by The Daily Record in the Power 20 in Real Estate Law list and he was also the recipient of The Daily Record's Leaders in Law Award in 2018, honoring attorneys who have shown dedication to the legal profession and tireless commitment to the community. In 2009, Pat was a recipient of the Rochester Business Journal's "Forty Under 40" award.
